Subbed vs Dubbed, my opinion flipped after Attack on Titan

I always watched dubbed because I could multitask, but last month I tried subbed for one episode and caught way more emotion in the voice acting. Has anyone else switched sides after a specific show, or does it depend on the series for you?

...and honestly the real game changer for me was realizing that subtitles actually FIX the dubbing problem rather than just being a different way to watch. Like when you watch dubbed, the translators have to fit the words to the mouth movements, so entire meanings get changed just to make the lip flaps work. With subbed, you get the EXACT translation and the original voice acting keeps its genuine pacing and emotion. It's not even about reading fast, it's about the fact that the performance is the real one. Once I noticed that, I couldn't go back, especially for shows like AOT where the screaming and crying carry so much weight.
