Started using Netflix's secret category codes and now my watchlist is out of control
I got tired of scrolling for 20 minutes every night and never picking anything, so I tried those hidden genre codes people post online. Typing in 10757 for cooking shows or 10375 for foreign movies pulls up stuff that never shows on the normal home page, and I found like 15 things in one evening. The problem is now my list has 60+ titles and I spend the same 20 minutes just staring at that instead. Is there a code for documentaries about competitive cheese rolling or am I on my own here?
Doubling down on the codes is honestly the move here. I started saving them in a note on my phone, like one for stand-up (11559) and one for British crime dramas, and now I can jump straight to a folder that only has 8 things in it instead of doom scrolling the whole app. The trick is to pick your code first and then only let yourself choose from that one row, so your brain stops treating it like an endless buffet. For cheese rolling docs you are probably stuck with regular search, but 3675 for oddball culture stuff might get you close.
