Dark is the most overhyped show on Netflix and nobody wants to admit it

I forced myself through all 3 seasons because everyone kept saying it was genius. Three episodes in I knew the time travel twist and the rest was just watching characters run around in the rain for 40 hours. The pacing is brutal and the dubbing makes it worse. Why does this show get a pass for being confusing when other shows would get torn apart for bad writing?

It really rewards paying close attention though, the layers are incredible.

@margaretf40 what layers though? the ones about the past or the ones about the characters? cause i missed a bunch the first time and felt dumb. had to rewatch twice to catch the subtle stuff. like the way they framed the scenes. really changes how you see the whole thing. but some of it felt forced to me honestly.
