Can we talk about hitting 500 episodes watched in a year?
I just hit 500 episodes watched this year and it surprised me. That was my number after checking my tracker app last night. Part of me thinks it's impressive dedication to stories, but another part worries I might be watching too much. Does reaching a high count mean you're a great fan or just wasting time?

500 episodes is just a number honestly. Watched all of One Piece last year and that alone was like 400 something right there. If you remember the good parts and actually enjoyed it, that's what counts.

The phrase "great fan or just wasting time" used to hit me hard because I felt like big numbers meant I was just rotting on the couch. But then I realized all my favorite shows have deep themes and character arcs I actually think about later, so it's not wasted if it sticks with you. So yeah, I used to side with the "wasting time" crowd but now I see 500 episodes as a lot of stories lived through, not just hours burned.
