Unpopular opinion: the painted bike lane on Franklin Ave in Minneapolis is worse than riding with traffic
I rode it twice this week and got right-hooked at the same driveway both times because drivers turn across that thin strip without checking, so honestly I feel safer taking the full lane on a street like this, and I'm wondering if anyone else has a lane near them that looks safer on paper but rides worse in real life.
