Saw three kids in a row last week try to fix a chain with no quick link and just twist the pin back in
I work part time at a shop in Fresno and last Tuesday three different customers under 25 came in with the same problem. All of them had pushed the pin most of the way out, then tried to shove it back with pliers and a rock or something. Two of the chains were bent so bad I had to trash them. I get that quick links cost 4 or 5 bucks, but when did we stop teaching people how a chain tool actually works? Any of you seeing this too or is it just my area?
