My barber in Tulsa asked what grinder I use and now I feel like a fraud

He asked it real casual while cutting my hair, like it was a normal question. I been using a $20 blade grinder for 4 years and never thought twice. Now I can't drink my own coffee without hearing his voice. Do I really need to spend $150 on a burr grinder or is he just deep in the rabbit hole?
