DAE stick with the hand grinder or cave and get an electric one?
So I've been using a $40 hand grinder for about 8 months now, and for a single 12oz pour over every morning it gets the job done. The problem is my wife started drinking coffee too, so now I'm grinding 2 batches back to back and my wrist is feeling it by Friday. I looked at electric burr grinders and the decent ones start around $150, which feels like a lot when my arm still works fine. But then I think about the 3 minutes I spend cranking every single morning, that's like 90 hours a year of just turning a handle. Half of me says suck it up and save the money, the other half says your time is worth something. Anyone else been stuck on this same wall, and did going electric actually make your coffee better or just faster?
