After 3 months of grinding my own beans, I can't believe people still buy pre-ground

I finally dialed in my Baratza Encore to get consistent 20g doses in under 10 seconds, and the difference in flavor is night and day from that stale bag of pre-ground I was using. Has anyone else switched and realized how much sediment was in their old cup?

Hunt.rowan, have you tried adjusting your grind setting on the fly while the machine's running? I used to make a mess with static cling on my old grinder until I gave the beans a quick spritz of water before grinding.

Wait, have you actually pulled a shot that fast without it tasting like battery acid? I still can't even get my cheap grinder to stop sounding like a blender full of rocks.
