Rant: I stopped using hashtags and started replying to 10 small accounts a day, and my reach jumped 4x in 3 weeks
Hashtag stuffing got me maybe 200 views a post, but talking to real people in my niche got me 5,000, so why is everyone still chasing tags instead of just leaving good comments?
I mean 200 to 5000 is a big jump but how much of that is just the algorithm liking comments over tags right now? Feels like the same advice gets recycled every few months with a new label. Not saying it doesn't work, just seems early to call it a rule.
