My barber's 40 second story about posting times made me question everything
He said he stopped checking analytics and just posts when his shop is slow, around 2pm on Tuesdays, and his reach tripled in a month, so has anyone else tried ignoring the 'best time' charts and just going with your own daily rhythm?

The bit about "just going with your own daily rhythm" is what got me. Most people think that means posting when you feel like it, but your barber is really talking about matching his content to when his customers are actually in the waiting chair, which is a totally different thing. For a lot of people, that 2pm slot is when they're zoning out and scrolling, but for others it's the middle of a work crunch. The real trick might not be the time, but the state of mind your audience is in at that moment. He's basically syncing his posts with when people have nothing better to do, not when the charts say everyone is awake.
