That Tuesday my 2005 Palm PDA survived a coffee spill while my phone died
I dropped a full mug of black coffee right on my old Tungsten E2 during a work call last month, screen stayed on and everything. Meanwhile my iPhone sitting 3 feet away took a splash from the same spill and bricked instantly. Is anyone else keeping a decade old PDA as backup just for the shock factor when modern gear fails?

...and honestly that reminds me of the time I found my old Palm Vx in a drawer and charged it up just to see if it still worked. It held a charge for like two weeks and the calendar app had all my high school finals on it. I literally sent a screenshot to my old buddy from trig class and we spent an hour laughing about how we survived on 16MB of memory. The screen had that greenish glow and the stylus still fit perfectly in the slot, felt like digging up a time capsule. Modern phones are great until they hit a drop of water, but that thing felt indestructible in the dumbest way possible.
