That 1998 CD-ROM encyclopedia beat Wikipedia for one weird thing

I dug out my old Encarta 98 discs last month when the wifi went down for two days, mostly as a joke. Turns out the offline maps and the way it explained historical timelines actually made more sense to my brain than scrolling through endless wiki links. Anyone else got an ancient piece of software that still does something better than the modern version?
