DAE remember when a 4GB iPod could hold your whole life, and now a 256GB phone feels too small?
I dug out my old 2005 iPod Mini last week in Portland and it still holds 1,000 songs without a hiccup, while my current phone manages to run out of space before I even download one podcast. The change happened somewhere around 2012 when apps and photos started eating storage faster than we could track. So which is it, are we just hoarding junk we never touch, or did companies quietly stop caring about giving us enough room to breathe? Curious how many of you still carry a dedicated music player just to avoid the headache.
