Warning: killed my first two basil plants before I picked perlite over vermiculite in my 10 inch pot
The basil in my 10 inch pot on the Chicago balcony was drowning in plain potting mix until I switched to a 70/30 mix with perlite, and now it's throwing leaves faster than I can eat them, so what's your go to drainage ratio for herbs in small containers?
