My tomato plants grew sideways for 2 months before I noticed
I kept wondering why my cherry tomatoes were leaning hard to the left, like they were trying to escape the balcony. Turns out I had them facing north instead of south the whole time, and they were reaching for any sunlight they could get from the neighbor's window. Has anyone else done something this dumb with their setup?

Wait, TWO months and you didn't notice they were growing sideways? That's incredible haha. @hunt.rowan's basil doing the limbo is hilarious too, at least your plants had the neighbor's window to chase. Who just puts tomatoes facing north and walks away for two months without checking the angle? I feel like I would have tripped over them by week two and been like "oh yeah, that's a problem." Hope they bounced back once you flipped them around!

Watched my basil plants do the same thing - they were practically doing the limbo towards my kitchen window. Felt like a real genius when my neighbor pointed out I'd put them in the shadiest corner of my deck. Now I just pretend my garden has "character" and wasn't totally my fault.
