My basil went from sad to happy in just two weeks

I had this one basil plant that looked pale and droopy for a month... I moved it from a small pot to a bigger one with fresh soil and put it on the sunnier side of my balcony. After about two weeks, the leaves got dark green and it started growing like crazy. I guess it just needed more room and light. Has anyone else had a plant turn around that fast after a simple change?

That's probably just a coincidence with the weather warming up. Plants can bounce back on their own sometimes without you doing anything special. It likely would have improved anyway.

@sethc12 that tomato plant story brought a smile to my face, glad nature surprised you both like that.

That idea about plants bouncing back on their own is so true. It reminds me of this sad little tomato plant I had last year that got totally fried in a heat wave. I gave up on it, but @william917, you're right, the weather changed and it got some rain. I came back from a weekend trip and it had a whole new set of leaves and tiny green tomatoes. It was a total surprise. Nature really does its own thing on its own schedule sometimes.
