My basil kept getting leggy and sad for almost two months straight.
Turns out my north-facing balcony just didn't get enough direct sun, so I moved everything to a friend's place in Tempe for a week and it bounced right back. Anyone else deal with a shady spot ruining their herbs?

Oh man, that's the worst. I've even had trouble with mint in a shady corner, which is crazy since that stuff usually grows anywhere.

Some things just refuse to follow the rules.

Yeah, I used to think mint was pretty much indestructible too. But @kim.sandra, I've had the same problem. I planted some in a spot that barely gets any light and forgot about it. I figured it'd take over like it always does, but it just kind of sat there and didn't grow much. That corner taught me that even the tough ones have their limits.
