Tried adding a bit of cornstarch to my chocolate chip cookie dough and they came out weirdly perfect.

I was just messing around with my usual recipe last night and threw in a tablespoon of cornstarch, which gave them this amazing soft, chewy texture that held up for three days without getting hard, so has anyone else tried this little trick?

Cornstarch in cookies sounds like a science experiment gone right. My last kitchen experiment just made the smoke alarm go off.
