That 1999 article saying we'd all be wearing smart glasses by 2010
I found this old tech magazine in a waiting room that claimed by 2010 everyone would have computer glasses as normal as watches. Funny how we're almost 15 years past that date and I still see maybe one pair of smart glasses per month at the grocery store.

1999 called it "smart glasses" not "computer glasses.

My buddy Dave bought a pair of those Ray-Ban smart glasses last year. He wore them exactly twice before leaving them in a Lyft and never saw them again. Now he just jokes that the future cost him four hundred bucks.
