That 1987 'paperless office' article cost me $300 in printer ink
I read a prediction in an old computer magazine that said by 2000 we'd stop printing everything, so I never bought a real filing system and instead spent $300 on ink cartridges over 2 years. My client in Denver still faxes me receipts to this day, so tell me what paperless tech actually worked for you without costing a fortune?

Wait, you actually spent $300 on ink just because of one magazine article from 1987? That's wild, I don't think I've ever spent that much on ink in my whole life combined. And your client in Denver still faxing receipts in this day and age, that's like finding a dinosaur in your backyard, I honestly can't believe fax machines still exist outside of like a legal office or something. For me, the only paperless thing that really stuck was scanning everything with my phone camera and just dumping it into a folder in Google Drive, costs nothing and I can find stuff by searching the text. Still, I print out my calendar every month because looking at a screen all day makes my eyes cross, so I get the struggle.
