Shoutout to the $800 I put into a used car in 2019 because everyone said it was a money pit
Half the guys at work said I was throwing money away on a 2006 Corolla with 180,000 miles, but that thing ran 5 more years and 90,000 miles on nothing but oil changes, so I want to hear from people on the other side: did a cheap gamble like that ever burn you hard?
