Pro tip: my old boss at a Circuit City in Ohio bet me $20 the iPod would flop by 2003
He held up a Rio PMP300 and said nobody would pay $400 for a gadget with no buttons and a hard drive that skips. I still have his twenty taped inside an old product manual, and I bring it up at cookouts way more than I should. What gadget did someone you knew write off that ended up everywhere?
