My 1998 article predicted we'd all have flying cars by 2020
Found an old tech magazine from 1998 at a truck stop in Amarillo that swore we'd be commuting in flying cars by now. Instead, I'm stuck in traffic on I-40 in a diesel rig hoping my GPS doesn't reroute me through another low bridge. Anyone else find a future prediction that aged like milk?

You remember that magazine too? I had one promising robot butlers by 2005, still waiting on that one.

Still waiting on that one" pretty much sums up every tech promise from the 2000s, @betty_scott18, now we just get a slightly smarter fridge that beeps at you. It’s like we keep getting these tiny upgrades instead of the big leaps they used to sell us.
