An ad from 1994 claimed the internet would die because nobody wants to read on a screen. I printed it out at work and taped it above my desk
Found it in an old magazine archive someone scanned, a full page spread saying home computers were a fad and people would always want paper. It has survived 4 office moves and 2 new laptops and it still makes me laugh every time I look up. What old ad or quote do you keep around just to feel good about being right?

That printout surviving 4 office moves and 2 laptops is honestly the best part, it's like a little trophy for being right. My version is an old quote from a news guy in the 90s saying the web would never replace the mall, and I keep it taped inside a cabinet. It's wild how sure people were back then, and how dumb it looks now.
