Went to a coffee shop in Brooklyn and the wifi password was a 60 character hex code
I was visiting a place in Brooklyn last Saturday and wanted to get some work done. The barista handed me a slip with the wifi password and it was literally 60 random letters and numbers. I asked her if there was a shorter version and she just shrugged and said "it's for security." I sat there for 15 minutes trying to type it in on my phone and gave up. Has anyone else run into cafes that think making wifi impossible to use is a flex?

60 characters is actually a hex string, not technically a code...

Everything's a code if you don't know how to read it. Is a hex string somehow less of a code just because it uses letters and numbers?
