Swore cloud gaming was garbage until I tried it on a hotel TV in Omaha
I used to trash cloud gaming to anyone who would listen, mostly because my first try back in 2021 was a laggy mess on hotel wifi. Last week I was stuck in Omaha for work and fired up a streamed racing game on the room TV with a $30 controller, and honestly it ran smooth for 3 straight hours. The input delay was there if I looked for it, but I stopped noticing after about 10 minutes. I still wouldn't play anything ranked on it, but calling it unplayable now just makes me sound like I'm stuck in the past. Anyone here switched over for real, or is it still just a travel thing for you?
