Everyone says Dark Souls is harder than Sekiro but I beat Sekiro in 3 weeks and I'm still stuck in Blighttown after 2 months
I picked up Sekiro last November and got the hang of the parry system way faster than I expected, finished the whole game in about 3 weeks with maybe 40 hours played. Then I started Dark Souls Remastered in January thinking it would be easier since everyone says Sekiro is the hardest FromSoft game, and I've been stuck in Blighttown for 2 months now. The difference is Sekiro tells you exactly when to react with that clang sound and the posture meter, while Dark Souls just lets you wander into a poison swamp with no map and a cursed status effect that halves your health. I genuinely think Blighttown alone is harder than anything Sekiro threw at me. Does anyone else find the older Souls games way more punishing than the newer ones, or am I just bad at navigating?
