My last roommate cost me $1,800 in 4 months and I found out from a leasing agent in Phoenix
The agent at the front desk pulled up the account and said a $150 late fee gets added every single time rent is 5 days past due, which is how the balance hit $1,800 on a $900 lease, so now I ask for a copy of the late fee policy, in writing, before I ever hand over a deposit, has anyone else gotten stuck with fees they never knew about?
