That $45 haunted house VHS from the flea market was a total bust

Picked up this old horror tape in Pompano Beach over the weekend, thought it'd be a riot for the group. Turned out to be 90 minutes of static and one guy in a cheap mask waving at the camera. Anyone else ever gamble on a mystery tape and lose that bad?

Ugh, that sucks so bad! I actually saw a video about these old flea market tapes and some people swear they find gold, but mostly it's just junk like that. My buddy picked one up in Daytona once and it was literally a guy's wedding from 1987, not even horror. The static thing is a classic letdown too, I've heard that's super common with these, people think it's cursed or something but it's just a bad recording. At least you got a funny story out of it, that mask dude sounds hilarious in a terrible way.
