PSA: Made my friends sit through a movie that was just 90 minutes of a guy folding laundry in Bakersfield
We laughed so hard at the 12 minute scene where he sorted socks by color that we now rate every bad movie on a "sock scale," so what's the most boring thing your group has ever turned into a inside joke?

Man, I used to roll my eyes at stuff like this and think inside jokes about boring things were just people trying too hard to be funny. Then my wife and I sat through a two hour documentary about concrete and now we randomly say "that's a load bearing wall" anytime something dumb happens, so I get it completely. Something about sitting through pure boredom together just bonds you in a weird way that a good movie never could. Your sock scale is genius and I'm stealing it. My group's version would probably be a nap scale where five pillows means we all fell asleep.
