My group argued for 2 hours over whether Troll 2 is a real movie or just a dare gone wrong
Last Friday we had 6 people over and picked Troll 2 because everyone swears it is the king of so bad it is good. Half the room said the acting is clearly on purpose and that makes it a comedy, not a bad movie, which I think misses the whole point. The other half said no way, nobody writes "they're eating her, and then they're going to eat me" by accident, that is real bad movie gold. We burned 2 hours and never finished the movie, and I still do not know if intent matters at all for bad movie night. Does a movie have to be trying to be good to actually count as so bad it is good?
