Hot take: The 4K remaster made this classic cheese fest worse somehow

I popped in the new 4K disc of that 80s horror flop for movie night last Friday and the cleaned up footage just kills the charm, you can see every fake cobweb and the stunt wires are glowing. My buddy Mike called it 'too crisp to laugh at' and now we're stuck picking which streaming version has the worst color grade for our next bad movie marathon. Anyone else find that fancy restorations ruin the fun of a terrible flick, or are we just weird about our garbage?
