The USB cable behind my TV measured 4 feet of pure chaos

I was cleaning behind my entertainment center the other day and decided to actually measure the mess of cables back there. It turns out I had 4 feet of extra HDMI cord just coiled up and tangled with three other cables doing NOTHING. Anyone else ever actually measure how much slack they're hiding behind their setup?

Yeah I learned that lesson after I snapped a port clean off my old Xbox.

I get what you're saying about "4 feet of pure chaos" but honestly I see all that extra cable length differently. A little bit of slack in the back actually lets you pull the TV out to reach ports without yanking something loose. I've learned the hard way that zero slack means you're one wiggle away from a dead HDMI port.
