Rant: the one velcro strap that took me 3 weekends to get right behind my TV
I finally got tired of the mess behind my TV in the living room and bought a $9 roll of velcro straps from the hardware store near my apartment in Austin. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. I spent about 4 hours over 3 weekends just figuring out which cables needed slack and which ones could be bundled tight, because my HDMI kept flickering every time I cinched things too hard. Turns out the power brick for my soundbar was the whole problem, it was too hot to wrap so I had to mount it on the back of the stand instead. How do you guys handle power bricks when they run warm like that?
