Rant: found out my power strip was the real problem, not the cords
So I have this tower of a PC under my desk in the spare room and the cords back there looked like spaghetti for 2 years. I kept buying velcro ties and those little adhesive clips, trying to bundle everything neat, but it always fell apart in like a week. Then my buddy came over to swap a fan and pointed at my $9 power strip screwed to the back of the desk, said the brick plugs were too fat and pushing every cable out at a weird angle. Moved the strip to the wall, ran one cord up to the desk, and suddenly I had room to actually route stuff. Did anyone else figure out their mess was really a layout problem and not a tie problem?
