Finally got my desk cords under control after 3 years of tripping over them
Saw a post from someone saying they used those little velcro cable ties from IKEA and figured I'd give them a shot, now I can actually see the floor behind my desk for the first time since 2021, anyone else have a random cheap fix that just worked way better than expected?

One of my friends had this issue with her nightstand being a total disaster zone of phone chargers and random cables. She finally got so fed up that she used those little binder clips from the office supply aisle (you know, the black ones with the silver handles) to clamp the cords to the edge of her desk. It ended up looking surprisingly neat and she only spent like three bucks on the whole thing. Seeing her do that actually inspired me to try it too, and now my own setup is way less of a tripping hazard. Sometimes the simplest solutions from the dollar store beat those fancy cable management kits every time.

Oh man, @the_sarah, that binder clip trick is genius! I actually did the same thing with my nightstand last month, clipped all my charging cables to the back edge so they don't slide off anymore. Makes such a difference for a couple bucks compared to those overpriced plastic organizers.
