TIL my neighbor in Portland thinks chicken coops are ugly and it's been a thing for three years
Last week she finally called the city to complain, saying our setup was an eyesore, even though we built it with reclaimed wood and keep it clean. The inspector came out, looked it over, and told her it was fully up to code and to leave us alone. How do you guys handle neighbors who just don't get it?

That "needs a hobby" line from @ninas70 is spot on. Getting into something hands-on really helped me stop overthinking things.
