Nest box camera died after 2 months, had to go old school

I rigged up a little wifi camera in my coop back in March to watch the hens without disturbing them. Worked great until last Tuesday when it just quit, probably got too much dust and moisture despite me sealing it up. Ended up spending Saturday morning sitting on a cooler 15 feet away with binoculars like a weirdo. Anyone else have luck with a specific brand of coop camera that actually holds up?

Fifteen feet away with binoculars is dedication, wow! That's commitment right there, sitting on a cooler for who knows how long just to watch chickens. Sorry your camera crapped out on you, that's brutal after only two months. I've had good luck with a Wyze cam v3 in a little waterproof enclosure I 3D printed for my coop, but honestly your setup sounds more fun in a weird way. At least you're getting some fresh air and actually seeing details the camera might miss.

Wyze cam v3 has been solid for me too but I sealed the USB port with electrical tape and stuck it under the eaves so rain doesn't hit it directly. Two months dying from dust and moisture sounds like you might have gotten a dud or the seal job just wasn't quite enough. Binoculars on a cooler is a whole different level of backyard ornithology though.
