My hens quit laying on the roost after I moved the waterer 2 feet, and it was all my fault
For about 4 months I kept finding eggs cracked under the roost bars every morning until my neighbor Carol pointed out my waterer was right next to the nesting boxes, so the girls were getting jostled on their way in and dropping eggs early, and once I moved it across the run I got 6 clean eggs the very next day, has anyone else had their setup quietly mess with their flock like that?
