Tried using a dab of dielectric grease on a stubborn D-sub pin connector in a Cessna 172

Honestly, it stopped the intermittent fault for a week, but then the whole connector started reading high resistance. I learned that stuff can trap moisture if you use too much. Anyone have a better trick for those old, corroded pins?

Yeah, that "trapping moisture" thing... it's like putting a band-aid on a deep cut, just hides the problem for a minute.

Band-aids can't fix a deep cut, man.

My buddy Dave tried to fix a leaky pipe in his basement with duct tape once. He was all "it'll hold for now" and then water busted through at 2 AM. Flooded half his storage room and ruined his old comic book collection. He spent like 400 bucks on a plumber after that. Sometimes you gotta just admit the quick fix isn't gonna cut it and call in the real help.
