That QA inspector's note about my soldering changed my whole process
Last month at the hangar in Tucson, a QA inspector pulled me aside after a routine check and said my solder joints looked clean but the wire prep was too inconsistent. He pointed out that I was stripping too much insulation on #22 wire, which left exposed strands that could flex and break under vibration. I started using a calibrated stripper and measuring every strip before I tin it, plus I now use a magnifying lamp on every termination instead of just when it feels tight. Has anyone else had an inspector flag something that seemed minor but turned out to be a real issue down the line?

That little nudge saved me from a wire chafing issue on a bird six months later. Sometimes the small stuff is the whole game.
