Spent 4 hours chasing a ghost in the WXI system on a King Air 200 today

Turned out to be a chafed wire behind the panel that I overlooked on the first three checks because the insulation was pin-hole sized. Has anyone else had a tiny wire fault take way longer than it should to find?

Four hours is brutal... I used to think those little faults were no big deal too, but after spending a whole afternoon on a pinhole tiny crack in a solder joint, I completely get it now. Sometimes the smallest stuff just hides so good.

Man I used to think tiny faults were no big deal but that one changed my mind lol.
