Rant: My lead tech said my wire routing was TOO clean. He was right.

I spent 4 hours on a Cessna tray rerouting a harness bundle so it looked perfect, symmetrical, no loose strands. My lead walked over and said "That's a museum piece, not a maintenance job. What happens when you need to pull that pin in the field?" He made me redo it with extra service loops and easier access points. I was pissed that day but now I get it, pretty installs can bite you later when you're troubleshooting at 2am. Has anyone else had to unlearn the "perfect look" habit after a senior callout?

Ha! Yeah, learning to plan for the 2am fix beats pretty every time. 😅
