PSA: Stop trusting the old pinout sheets, got burned in Phoenix

I used to wire everything off the same dog-eared binder manual we've had since 2009, figured if it worked before it works now. Last month on a 737 refresh out of Phoenix, that old sheet had the autopilot engage pin swapped with the disengage line, cost me 3 hours of troubleshooting and a rewritten work order. Now I cross-check every pin against the latest IPC on my tablet before I terminate anything, even on jobs I've done a dozen times. Anyone else running into outdated docs on older airframes, or is it just our hangar?

That binder cost us 2 days on a 757 last spring. Trash it.
