My lead at the MRO in Tulsa said to never trust the 'no fault found' code on a G1000 without checking the connector pins first.

Our shop found three bent pins on a G1000 connector last month.

Remember seeing a whole tray of those connectors get scrapped at a previous job. Supplier swore it was a one time handling issue, but we kept finding them. Makes you wonder about the quality checks before the parts even get to the shop floor. We ended up switching to a different vendor after the fourth bad batch. Just not worth the risk of a pin breaking off inside a unit later on.
