Almost fried a whole panel at Boeing Field last Thursday
Was working on a 737NG at Boeing Field and swapped a power supply module without pulling the battery bus first. Voltage spike took out two display units and a radio before I hit the disconnect. Cost the shop about $18,000 in parts and I got a write-up. Anyone else had a close call like that with power sequencing?

Cost the shop about $18,000 in parts" sounds like a fun Monday. Bet your manager loved that receipt.

Isn't it better to spend that on parts than on a new car payment though?
