Update: booked a broker for my Corolla instead of calling carriers myself and saved $260

Spent two weeks last month calling individual carriers to move my Corolla from Phoenix to Denver and the lowest quote I got was $940, then a broker got it done for $680 in three days. I always figured brokers just tack on a fee, but they clearly have rates the rest of us can't see. Anyone else get a better number going direct, or is the broker route just the way now?
