Rant: brokers used to give me 3 days notice, now it's 3 hours and they act like I'm the problem
Two years back I could book a haul from Dallas to Phoenix on a Monday and have the car picked up Wednesday afternoon no problem. Now I get a text at 9am saying the driver is 40 minutes out and the customer never even got a call. Broker said "that's just how the industry moves now" when I asked why the pickup window shrank from 48 hours to same day. I think it's because everyone switched to those instant quote apps and now nobody plans anything past lunch. Anyone else seeing pickup windows turn into a same day scramble or is it just my lane?
