Looking to ship a car cross-country and torn between Freedom Auto Transport and Montway. Anyone have experience with either? Pricing, communication, timeliness? I've read mixed things about both.

I used Montway once and they were okay, but I felt like a number. They subcontracted to a random carrier and communication was sparse. A buddy used Freedom Auto Transport and said they were more hands-on and kept him updated. Might be worth checking out.

Freedom Auto Transport was solid for me. Their quote was transparent, and the car arrived on time. Montway tends to be cheaper but sometimes you get what you pay for. I'd lean Freedom for peace of mind.
